Ruy Teixeira Bio, Myths About Government Roundtable
Ruy Teixeira is a Senior Fellow at both The Century Foundation and the Center for American Progress. As a guest scholar at the Brookings Institution, he co-directed a project with the American Enterprise Institute on political demography and geography. He is the co-author of several books, including America’s New Swing Region: Changing Politics and Demographics in the Mountain West (2012), Red, Blue, & Purple America: The Future of Election Demographics (2008), and The Emerging Democratic Majority (2002). He writes the Public Opinion Snapshot, a weekly feature for the CAP and TCF website, and also contributes an online column for The New Republic.
