Roosevelt Rising: Pipeline's First National Conference

Roosevelt Institute | Pipeline held its first national conference on November 7 at the State University of New York’s Global Center in New York City. The event marked Pipeline’s public debut and featured a keynote address by Harvard University professor Dr. Paul Farmer.

At the event, Dr. Farmer presented the inaugural Rising Star Award to Pipeline member Naomi Rosenberg in recognition of her dedication to progressive leadership and service. Other speakers included Rep. Diane Russell of Maine’s House of Representatives and Ronnie Cho of the White House Office of Public Engagement, who offered their endorsements to Pipeline.

The Pipeline Fellows participated in discussion panels on “A New Economy for the Millennial America” and “Citizenship in the Millennial America” along with Roosevelt Institute Fellow Mike Konczal and and Senior Fellow Mark Schmitt. You can watch the full video of the event below:
