Lynn Bassanese

Lynn Bassanese is the Acting Director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, New York. She has been with the Roosevelt Library since 1972, when attending Marist College in nearby Poughkeepsie, NY, she answered an ad for a part time archives aid position. She has held a variety of jobs at the Library including Museum Store Manager, Public Affairs Specialist, Archivist, Public Programs Director, and Deputy Director. As Director she is responsible for planning, directing, and administering all program and activities of the nation’s first presidential library.  
 
 She holds a B.A. in history from Marist College.
