IPL and the class of the game!!

The Indian premier league was started with the whole aim of providing entertainment to its viewers. But then at what cost?. I frankly feel that the IPL has completely lost the essence of playing cricket. We have seen some of the most weirdest shots to be played in the history of cricket with the only objective of hitting the ball to the boundary. We can never see the cricketing talents of our favorite cricketers and this is only going to reduce the quality of good cricket.
